Dr. K. Prasad is among the first private dental practitioners in Bhopal, completing his B.D.S. from K.G.M.C., Lucknow in 1967 and his M.D.S. in Orthodontia from the same institution in 1969.
When he arrived in Bhopal, he observed that the city had very few dental clinics and limited treatment facilities. Motivated to bring modern, advanced dental care to the community, he began his practice in a small space while offering the most updated treatment methods available at the time. Through his gentle approach and patient-focused communication, he educated people about the importance of modern dental care and its long-term benefits.
With this vision, Prasad Dental Clinic was established at New Market in 1972. Dr. Prasad is also one of the founder members of the Indian Dental Association (IDA) Bhopal branch and is recognised as the first dental surgeon in Bhopal to offer specialised orthodontic treatment with fixed braces.
With over 55 years of dedicated service, Dr. Prasad brings extensive clinical and practical experience to every patient he treats. His decades of commitment to quality care have played a significant role in elevating dental standards across Bhopal.
Dr. Himanshu Agarwal completed his B.D.S from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore in 2001. Since then he has been practicing with Dr. K. Prasad at Prasad Dental Clinic new market. To enhance his clinical skills and to keep himself abreast with the new techniques in dentistry he completed his part I of F.R.A.C.D.S from Australia in 2003. In 2006 he completed 250 hr hands on course affiliated from Italy on orthodontics. Continuing his quest for knowledge keeping in mind the benefits of the patients he successfully completed 100 hrs hands on course in Dental implants from Pune in 2017.
He has a very good clinical judgment along with artistic skills required to carry out complicated dental procedures. He specializes in various dental treatments like Dental implants, Root Canal therapy, Metal Free Crowns (i.e. all ceramic and zirconia), Crown and Bridge work, Tooth colored filling, Complete Dentures to name a few.
In 2011 Dr. Himanshu Agarwal started a branch of Prasad Dental Clinic at manisha market for the benefit of patients from kolar road, shahpura and trilanga area.
